Monitoring dust

I have to monitor dust generated from rock drills and rock crushing. Is there any sampling equipment available that's easy to move or handheld?

We use MiniRams, also known as pDRs. They are small, battery operated (but can be run off power if available), direct read. Can be set to log data for download to an excel spreadsheet. Someone can wear them, or you can mount in the area of concern.

You need to figure out what it is you are trying to measure: PM10? PM2.5? all dust? visible dust? how far from source?
Also, here in California, we have to worry about naturally occurring asbestos in much of our rock. When disturbing rock with NOA, additional PPE and engineering controls are required.
