What is then the physical significance of the product of inertia which relates to a set of axis XX and YY defined as Ixy= integral(XYdA)??

It enters into the formulae for transposing the moments of inertia between different sets of reference axes.
Also if XX (or YY) is an axis of symmetry for the section, then Ixy=0 , but the inverse statement is not necessarily true. prex

Can you please tell me(kind request) what you exactly mean when you say "transposing the moments of inertia between different sets of reference axes."
