Moment caused by concentrated load on cantilever plate

Hi,
Does anyone know how to calculate fixed end moment cause by a point load acting at the end of a cantilever plate. Assume the plate is fixed. See picture attached.
From some internet research I've done plate analysis is quite a complicated subject but I just need a conservative answer.

This is basic strength of material, so if you are a CE, I know that you had this topic in class.
 
I would actually say this is first year statics. The one that absolutely every engineer or technologist has taken in their schooling.
 
Moment = force x distance , therefore, P(force) x length of A - P (distance).
