Moisture barrier for painted slab below grade

Does anyone wrap the moisture barrier around slab edges? Slab is 9" thick and 24" below grade. Its above water table, but location is kind of damp and sheet of vapor barrier left on the ground will show drops of water on the underside in less than a day. Would enough moisture migrate into the slab sideways to cause issues with epoxy floor coating?

What are your guys experience with this?

What does your edge detail look like? Does the slab terminate at a foundation wall? Stego has details on their website where you attach the vapor barrier to a foundation wall.

Might be worth a call to your floor installer or Stego to see what they recommend.

Doesn't hurt... but I don't know if it does any good...UV will eventually degrade any exposed parts...

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Feel any better?

Terminate the vapor barrier at the edge of SOG, and waterproof the vertical surface below grade with asphalt products.

many are carcinogenic... I try to avoid this stuff...

Really? There are many different kind of asphalt product though. Or just use any eco-friendly waterproofing material then.
