Hello,
With MSC/ PATRAN-NASTRAN 2000 , it is possible to convert a CATIA file (V4 or V5) directly into PATRAN in order to use it with NASTRAN.
The NASTRAN software I own does not allow it . It need a special module.
What's the name of this module ?

I had the same question, but using FEMAP instead of PATRAN. For FEMAP, you need to buy the enterprise version to get the CATIA import option.

You need to buy the license for CATIA import in Patran, but insteadof that , you can export to iges or parasolid using CATIA, and then import it to Patran, without a special license.
