I have a great worksheet that also outputs more than I care to see. What is the best way to select cells that I want to keep still perform the calculations in the modified worksheet.

There are several possible answers to this depending on how your sheet is laid out.

Option 1. Select the rows/ columns you don't want to see, right click on them and select Hide. Very simple to do, but depends on original layout.

Option 2. Open a new sheet (say Sheet2) in the same workbook. Set up cells on Sheet2 for all the inputs required on Sheet1. Go to Sheet1 and set the value of the inputs equal to the newly labelled input cells on Sheet2. Set the values on Sheet2 output cells equal to the output cells on Sheet1. You now have all your complicated stuff on Sheet1, and your Input and Output displayed on Sheet2

Good Luck
