Hi All,

I created a right-handed part in ST2 sheetmetal and rather than creating a new LH part I just changed the bend angle. Now when I try to flatten the part to create the draft I get an error. Is it not possible to flatten a part that has new bend angles? Thanks!

This should work fine but this is not the normal way to do what you want. The direct edit tools within ordered are good to get you out of a hole but personally, I don't think of them as part of a normal workflow.

Try opening a new SM file and clicking on "part copy". Select the RH part and selct "mirror" in the dialogue.

This will give a linked LH part(ordered SM). This is a very robust workflow.
