Modifications to part in assembly mode don't show in standalone part

Hi,

I have a fairly simple assembly which consists of three parts. In assembly mode, I make holes to a part based on hole location of other part, but when I go to the part window of the modified part, the holes are not there! What's going on? Please help. Thank you.

I'm on Wildfire 5.0
