I was attempting to extrude a circle along a curved polyline path with quite a few vertices, and AutoCAD 2005 flatly refused, and gave the response; 'Modeling Operation Error:Exceeded stack limit'. Does anyone have an idea of what this means? and if so, could they please suggest a way around this problem?
Alternatively, I could perhaps drop my machine on the head of the next AutoCAD salesman from a very high height?

Exxit,

I might just do that! If Autodesk can't answer this question - what hope have the rest of us got?!!

Actually I found a way around the problem by splitting the path into two halves - it was the only way I could get it to work.

Having looked at other AutoCAD forums, it seems pretty clear that AutoCAD doesn't handle solid modelling very well, good luck in developing your software guys.

...or you have high and/or negative values...
