Modelling a wing

Hi all,

I'm trying to model a wing in NX in prep for exporting as an STL for CFD simulations.

I have created files with the hub and tip aerofoil profiles loaded and the x and y co-ordiates taking into acount wing sweep and span. I have managed to get these loaded into NX as they should, however I cannot get the sweep to work to create the areafoil surface (I can get it to model a straight wing, but not one with sweep between the two profiles).

Can anyone give me a guide/ some advice on how to do this operation guys?

Without at least a picture or the file itself, that woulld be very difficult.

You might want to take a close look at the trailing edge points of the 2 profiles. If your code outputs a profile with a flat trailing edge, then try creating a line for each profile's TE. Make the profile spline separately, for each one. Then, when making the Sweep, you'll have 2 entities for each profile; the main profile spline, and the straight TE. Be careful about the order in which you select the entities.
 
Also, make sure the trailing edge size is not below your modeling tolerance.
 
I've had a check over the trailing edge and it looks OK. I've attached the .prt file below which contains the wing sections at the hub and tip at the correct locations/ sizes, I'm just unsure on how to get sweep to model between the two sections. If anyone gets a minute to have a look at the file I'd be greatful.

You could do this in many different ways, i've created one Through curve mesh and one swept. It is important that when you select the sections that the arrows points in the same direction.
Have a look at example attached.
