Hi all,

The problem I am looking to solve is what type of elements to used to simulate a rope connection between two concrete blocks. An example of what I am modelling is below.

I have done some searching but to no avail. I am not worried about any data from the rope; I just want to simulate the interaction.

Hopefully someone can help with this as it seems like it would be an easy thing to do.

Model the rope as truss elements without compressive strength, there's a checkbox in either the material or section widget.
