hi, i'm modeling the impact of water droplet on solid surface with dynamic explicit, the water droplet is assumed to be a sphere but i don't know how to define the material i just puted the density but it didn't work. can anyone help me please?

In general elements in standard or explicit analysis are solid bodies which roughly behave elastically. With increasing deformation increasing loads develop. Depending on your timescale and temperature, water does not adhere to this. To model the drop you will need to use other methods available within Abaqus. The first two that come to mind are: Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian (CEL) and Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic (SPH). Depending on what you are looking for with results one may be better for you than the other. Use these 2 terms to search the help files.

I hope this helps.
