I was wondering if anyone knows how to model prestressed beams using ETABS. Unlike SAP2000, it does not feature tendon elements. How would you treat some prestressed beams in a model so that you get correct analysis results? Or shall I use SAP only?

Thank you.

You can model prestressed beams by introducing an "upward" load. The balanced loads are given in the Appendix of PCI Manual for various profiles.
