New to SW and using 2004. I need to create 3 gears (2.125" outside Dia. and 1.875" inside dia) that will interact with each other. If need be, I can email a sketch of what I'm trying to do. I was unable to post the image for some reason. Thanks for the help!

Simplest way is to model the gears as disks w/ the outside diameter equal to the pitch diameter. Mate them in an assy w/ the outside diameters tangent to one another and free to rotate about their axis. Then use gear mates to get the correct relative motion. (Check "gear mates" in the help section").

If you need tomodel the actual gear, get Geartrax.

Yea, I need to model the actual gear. I'll look into Geartrax. thanks for the info!
