Hello all,

As the producer of the inside of a luxurious tent, we have drawn all parts in 3D in Solidworks. The inside of the tent is a small house, made of a wooden frame, but without boards of wood (without the tent you could step into the house everywhere).

To create a nice presentation for the client, I would like to create the canvas tent. Dimensions don't have to be precise, but should look good. Can somebody help me with this?

The underside of the tent has different heights, the top side has two air holes. You could compare the tent to this: http://www.cirquepassion.com/Chapiteau%20Cirque%20Passion%20 black%20swirly%20edge.PNG(just a picture I found via google, this does have two top side air holes, but the underside is on equal level).

I think it should be done with a loft, I've tried a lot, but it won't work. It will work if I only select one of top air holes, with a second it won't. Selecting only one and then mirroring does work, but then the mids of the tent isn't correct.

Thanks in advance!

Keesvos,

I can try and help. I would try and break it down first. The top section split in quarters.

I don't have SW here in work but can try it at home later. It may take a mixture of a loft and sweep or 2 lofts, not sure till I try it.

OK, Michael3130, that would be great!

I tried it out in ProE to try and explain what I was talking about. It's close but not quite there but may be close enough for what you want to show.

I have tried to upload the images to the post but it wont let me. E-mail if you want at michael.adams@glendimplex.com and I can send you the images of what I've done.
