We have an upper pond and a lower pond at elevation connected by a 450' length of creek. Flows from an approximately 30 acre water shed will flow through this creek.

The landscape architect would like to have two small basins between the upper and lower ponds, and several 2-4' waterfall drops.

How to best model this series of drops? The drops are often only 20 feet apart or so.

Are these accurately modeled as a series of connected reaches? This seems most intuitive and simple, but do the calculations automatically take into account the vertical fall between reaches? My intuition says yes but thought it best to be sure.

Obviously we will protect these areas from erosion.

Thanks in advance,
