Model of Oring in Round and Oval Groove?

Actually i found the solution i was originally looking for. I did a circular sweep, round cross section as my first extrusion in the part. This is your standard oring shape.

And for the second extrusiont a round cross section in a rectangular shaped sweep. This is for the rectangular shaped groove.

So in the same part I have two oring shapes. two grooves, same oring p/n in two differently shaped grooves.

Install the part in the assembly, in the appropriatte groove. Make it flexible. In the flexibility box go to "features", and pull both extrusions in. Suppress the one you don't want, hit OK.

Allows you to use the same oring in different grooves. the BOM will show one p/n for both groove configurations.
