Model from Ct data- mirror symmetry

Dear friends, I am new in Biomechanics. I have created a 3D Geometry model from CT scan data. The sample is actually a left hip joint but in my computer model is a right hip joint (mirror symmetry). Is it usual or depends on the type of CT scan apparat.
