I need to join two pipes with a "mobile joint" for the extraction of gases from an electric furnace. I mean, the air cannot go out between these two pipes, but the pipes can rotate one respect the other. I want one to be fixed and the other one to have a rotatory movement.

I'm trying to find suppliers on internet, but i do not know the name of this kind of joint, so it's being quite hard to search.

Can anybody give me an eng-tip?

Thanks indeed guys.

See 'rotary joint'.

Also 'rotary coupling' or 'rotary union'.

Depending on our pipe size, material and pressure you could consider flexible rubber couplings.

Perhaps also a "misalignment flange", basically a flanged ball joint.

I have contacted this company, I think this joint is great stuff for what I need. In case anyone has a similar problem, I leave the link.

Thank you again.
