All,

How many engineers, not involved with the bridge industry, are using MMFX for corrosive environments?

TIA

I've heard a presentation on it. I've never heard of it being used locally (Minnesota).

Sounds like a good idea, but from my limited information I would be concerned about cost, availability, competitive bidding, etc. and probably would specify it only after having written approval from the building owner and architect.

Having said that I'm sure it has its place and may become a competitive player in the future.

I just approved using this type of steel for rebars in a very corrosive environment.

I hear nothing but good things about it.

Regards,
Lutfi
