MMC callout for a threaded hole.

I was always under the impression that threaded holes do not have MMC or LMC callouts due it being a threaded hole. Understandably, thru/machined holes can be controlled with MMC and LMC. The drill point size needed for a specific tap is governed by the Machinist handbook thus no MMC or LMC is needed. Am I in Error. PLEASE HELP.
