Mixing streams at different pressures 2

Hello,

I am mixing two streams of the same fluid at different temperatures and pressures in a pipe. I am trying to calculate the pressure at the new point where the two streams mix. I know that I must use conservation of mass and energy to determine the enthalpy at the new point, but, I do not know how to determine the pressure.
 
Right. I thought about that a bit yesterday and realized that. Thank you again for the help.
 
What causes the bypass valve to open and when it is open what process parameter determines the bypass valve position.

A control system will determine when the valve opens. It will only be open when a change in power is desired and its position is again determined by the control system.
 
So do you know what the parameters are within the control system?

what more is there, unless you install an ejector, all you science and equations are moot. the ethalphy change is zero at the mixer. the streams mix at the lowest pressure.

there is nothing more, no momentum, just forces one the by-pass valve keeping it from going wide opem.
