Minimum Distance between Bottom of Anchor Rod and Bottom of Footing 3

Tried to find the answer in AISC design guide 1 but can't find any number. Any references??

Probably the same 3" cover that you'd apply to rebar at minimum

Checking ACI 314-16, it doesn't really make it clear which edge min distance is referring to

17.7.2 Unless determined in accordance with 17.7.4,
minimum edge distances for cast-in anchors that will not
be torqued shall be based on specified cover requirements
for reinforcement in 20.6.1. For cast-in anchors that will be
torqued, the minimum edge distances shall be 6da.

That edge distance would not cover the bottom of footing distance, that is the plan dimension from anchor to edge of member.

Assuming the anchor rod only carries tension and shear, all you need is adequate cover to prevent corrosion, which I would take the same as what the horizontal reinforcing in the bottom footing would require. If it carries compression, then it gets more difficult.
