Minimum Cusp Angle

Can anyone help me understand what the "Minimum Cusp Angle" is in the AutoGEM settings? I read the Pro/E help on it, and still do not fully understand what that number is, and what AutoGEM will do when it encounters a situation with angles smaller than specified.
