Hello everybody,
We are finaly making the leap to Windchill and we'd like to benefit and learn
from the knowledge and experience in the industry with the legacy data issue.
We have several products and parts that were accumulated over the years through
acquisitions.
These parts have P/Ns that follow very different formats
(five digit P/Ns, six digit ones, ones with letters ...).
Do we need to standardize or change all the P/Ns to be of
the same format? Would this make the migration or the management of legacy data
any easier?
