Hi everyone,

I am using a shared machine in my lab and someone messed up my mouse configuration. I can't seem to rotate using my middle mouse button anymore. (I'm using 2001 btw) Does anyone know how to fix this?

Lab? Where are you?

It's in the config.pro option.. 2button_ mouse yes You may have to add the line...

From that point, I think you hold down the Ctrl+Alt key with the left mouse button to manipulate your model (????)

I'm a graduate student. I work in a research lab. This is probably a stupid question, but where is the config.pro file?

New Mexico???

Go to utilities> options

New Mexico? No.... California. why? I went to utilities> options... What am I looking for?

Does the Middle mouse button functions the same on other programs?

Sounds like Windows setting problem. Check under Setting > Control Panel > Mouse > Buttons

Or check config.pro for option, 2button_mouse_mmb_support to no

I work in a lab too, just curious.

Actually, I was commenting that you might be able to find the config.pro option in New Mexico :-)

As far as I know. I reset it to scroll funtionality so it works fine.
