Hello,

i'd like to know which normative or standard i may use to calculate the maximum force applied to the pipe during the jacking operation.

When you tell us what the anticipated geological conditions will be , then perhaps you can get answers

A bit less than it's allowable axial capacity which the vendor calculates for you ( at least for concrete pipe). Multiple jacking stations may be required for really long sections.

It's a calculation undertaken by the tunneling contractor in my experience.

Remember - More details = better answers

Maybe I expressed myself in the wrong way. I want to know if there is a Standard, or
recognized and authoritative method, I can use to calculate the force applied to the pipe during the jacking operation (i.e : face resistance and lateral frictional resistance)
