Hi everyone,
I would like to know if there is some analytical relation/ formula which I can use to define face pressure of microtunneling in rock soil.
I know that the total force is characterized by the sum of a component related to total lateral friction and an other one connected to face pressure and rock stability. I would like to know if there is some analytical consideration which allow to calculate the second component mentioned above.
Can I apply the "Silo theory" for rock condition?
