Microcontroller ESP32 & RTD100

Attached is reference to used sensor RTD100 to detect cooling water temperature using Microcontroller ESP32.

Questions:

1. How is communication between ESP 32 with RTD100? (as far i know RTD100 working with resistance not ampere 4-20)

2. Possible using another sensor to replace RTD100, if possible, and how?

3. Does it ESP32 only can get signal from RT100 not from other sensor type? and how?

The resistance temperature detector (RTD) itself is just that - a device which changes resistance with temperature. It will not put out either a voltage or current signal. However, it CAN be routed to a transmitter which converts the resistance measurement to an electrical (usually 4-20 mA) signal which can THEN be routed to a microcontroller such as the ESP2.

The blue thing is a temperature transmitter, which reads the RTD signal by sourcing a constant current through the RTD, reading the voltage drop, and outputing a linearized temperature signal whose range is defined on the label, which appears to be a scaled output of 0-10V (but it's hard to read.)

The 2-wire RTD connects to the input terminals shown as a rectangle/resistor. The label tells you that the transmitter needs a 24Vdc power supply to run the tranmitter. One terminal is labeled (+) so that's where the 24Vdc (+) connects. The zero V/common side of the 24V is not marked, so it's probably a 3-wire transmitter where the power supply (-)/common connects to the output signal terminal labeled (-).

I can read none of the micro's terminal labels, but look for 0-10Vdc analog input.
