MFI vs. shrinkage

Is it a relation between MFI of plastic and shrinkage of plastic? (At least gualitatively)

I have found that if a material has a low melt flow rate, hence is very viscous when molten, then it is harder to 'pack out' during the packing stage of the molding cycle and therefore harder to prevent sinking.
