Is there a standard explaining the tolerance for Maximum and Minimum Clearance holes that can be captured with the use of ISO Washers. Need to know the upper tolerance that can be used for oversized clearance hole.

What is your application? This is sometimes a code mandate, sometimes a practical consideration and can depend on the state of stress of the bolt (shear,tension,bending...).
