Dear All,
I need to upgrade a methane stripping unit for a leachate influent.
Does any one can tell me how to size a air blower for methane stripping? Or the air requirement per CH4?

I thank you all in advance.

Methane may be removed very easily with any type of aerator, but the use of an open type of aerator is recommended, so that the gas can freely escape into the atomosphere is advisable. This equipment should be located a safe distance away from a source of ignition. No blower is needed for a tray aerator.

If you want to use a forced draft aerator, then the air requirement is 2 scfm per gpm. Ref. Demineralization by Ion Exchange, by Applebaum.
