Dear All,

Good Day

Is there anyone has ever design nor use nor info the methane-oxygen portable gas burner ? its apply for the ladle preheat-er in steel industry.

Sincerely yours and many thanks

Kusuma

What is your question? Methane is natural gas, which is a cheap and plentiful fuel. Oxygen is used in place of air to increase the flame temperature. Steel has a pour point higher than a methane air flame temperature.

I mean, this burner is not used to melt the metal. It preheat the ladle to approx. 700-1000C.
