Metal Temperature Color Chart 2

I'm heating a part made from 8620 steel for a shrink fit assembly. At around 400F the part starts to change color.
I'd like to be able to track its temperature by its color and without depending on the oven's gage.
I heard from some coworkers that there is a chart for steel that gives you a temperature range in the part based on its color. I searched the web but could not find "the chart". I came across some tables but they are for higher temperatures. Does such a thing exist? Thanks.

Machinery' Handbook lists the tempering colors for steel [p.495 in the 26thed]

Tempil has a nice phase chart for the hot colors:

I would suggest buying a tempil stick or two as well. We use a Tempil stick to train as to exactly which color is proper.

I would trust the oven gauge more than the colors- I think that's pretty approximate.
