We surveyed a building that was constructed in the mid-1950's in southeastern PA. The roof over the building was a 7 1/2" deep metal deck than spanned up to ~29'. It appears to match up with the H7.5 designation that was previously manufactured by USD, but when we measured the deck thickness, it came out to be about 14 gage - which wasn't offered in the H7.5.

We found a set of drawings that indicate that the deck is "#5 deck". I cannot find anything on it. Does anyone have any information on that type of decking?

I've looked at SDI's website and noticed that they don't appear to offer the review services like SJI does for joists. I did continue to search online and found a link to a Robertson Catalog that includes their #5-75 decking in thicknesses up to 12 gage. I found that info through this site (thanks JedClampett & SlideRuleEra) and think I can complete this analysis with it.

Thanks for the suggestion!
