im looking for a casting company to produce canter chipper knife holders. Basically a knife holder that revolves on a large disc to chip logs as they pass by. i have a sample that i need to duplicate. The sample is roughly 6x6x7 in dimension but fairly complicated with many curves and angles. I am looking for a company prefferably Canadian, with quick turn around and the ability to produce small quantities 6- 12 at a time. I am from a small machine shop that rarely does this work, so i am not familiar with any casting. I would prefer a rough casting that i would finish locally, dovetail, tapped holes etc. As for material i am unsure until i get a sample tested. First glance shows a Rockwell C of 22 +- 1. If there is some way to attach a digital pick or if someone wants a e-mailed pic, i can do that.
Thanks
