Hello,

I have a question.
I would like to use a CAD model of a fan propeller found in grabcad. I can import the model in Patran.
The problem is the following

It is a full CAD, and ideally I would like to have the generating sector (structure with cyclic symmetry).
And I would like to get a regular mesh, ideally with HEX8 or HEX20 finite elements.

Is it easy to get the CAD of the generating sector ? Since I am new with Patran, could you help me where to find documentation to achieve that ?

Sincerely yours

E. L.
