meshing of skewed deck section

Hi all,

For skew angle of 6, is it necessary to skew the deck as well or only the abutments? Supporting piers are not skewed as have to align with the road underneath. Attached below is example of meshed skewed deck. Is it safe to keep this meshing or it causes torsional moment?
