Meshing in NX CAE

I am struggling with meshing very simple quadrilateral faces with quad elements. Some faces work excellent, and others (not complicated) faces NX will not mesh properly. Sometimes the mesher cuts off corners and for other faces generates the most crazy meshes. Why?
I will be very obliged if somebody with NX CAE experience could give me some hints.
