In April, David asked about mesh quality in Ideas.
I do not know any relationshiip between what Patran has and what Ideas has.
Ideas recommended 0.3 or above for stretch and distortion. These values were based on the normalization of the Jacobian. They were for the Model Solution elements, but worked well with most solvers.
