In light of the housing market and the overall condition of the economy, I'm actually surprised to hear other local professionals tell me that their workloads really haven't skipped a beat.
At my firm, however, we've noticed a quick decline in the number of billable projects. Almost zero residential work, and the remainder is commercial. We have a history of rejecting proposal requests for government and healthcare projects, and I'm pretty certain we'll finally start suffering the consequences for it.
Anyways, this is all in Florida. How are things looking everywhere else?
