media migration in filter cartridge 1

What type of filter cartridge will have more media migration problems?

I am weighing 1 micron polypropylene string wound filter vs depth filter(core less) of same material for chilled water circulating system used for evaporative belt liine cooling. It seperates soap and some 1.5 micron (avg) size dirt.
