hi all,

In an assembly I have an axis which is the intersection between two planes of two moving bodies.

When the bodies moves the axis remains in the same position, it does not move togheter with the planes!! How can I create the axis so that it could move?

This is important for me to measure the distance between that axis and a certain plane...

thank you,

paolo

Create a third part with only a point.

Sketch a line on first part and define points. Sketch a line on second part and define points.

Define a slot -cam joint between the third part andFIRST part

Define a slot - cam joint between the third and SECOND part

Define a Gear Pair between the first and second part.

Job is done. Attached two files.
