I am converting a centrifugal pump from gland packing to mechanical seal in a hydrogenation plant. The vegetable oil contain 0.01 nickel powder and treat with hydrogen and process at 130 degree C. Please advise what materials of mechanical seal to use and what precaution need to be taken.
