Mechanical properties not achieved

Dear All

please help me to provide the specific reason of not getting the desired mechanical properties after HQT of AISI 4130 pipe of 3 inch

parameters taken for HQT
Process Temperature ⁰C Soaking Time (Hrs)
Normalizing 900 2:00
Hardening 860 2:00
Tempering 550 2:30

Results achieved are attached

Dear Saurav,

Check the furnace parameters and also carry out PMI of the material. Your answer might lie there.

Why such long soak times for 3" diameter pipe?
 
What is the pipe wall thickness?

In looking at the attached results, I would first follow Dhurjati's suggestion, we got so much different results from trial 1 and 2 (if you used a same temper temperature)!
