Mechanical Desktop 6 vs. 2006/2007

Hi everyone,
My experience with Mechanical Desktop has been based around version 6 mostly, and now with the new 2007 release can any experience MDT/Inventor user tell me if it is a huge leap forward for MDT user to swith to a newer version and if they have found 2007 or 2006 a much more stable and bug-free program than MDT 6 with sp4 and if the newer releases are easier to use and more capable modellers.
