mechanica stop and restart

Due to some reasons if I stop the mechanica analysis running and then want to restart it does not. Please help. I am using WF 2.0

A reference material on this topic would b appreciated.

Were you running single pass (SPA) or multiple pass adaptive (MPA)? You can only restart if you are using MPA. The reason is because mechanica saves full results at each pass of MPA including the polynomial number for next pass. For SPA this information does not get safe because only the initial pass at polynomial 3 is used and then from the superconvergance criterion the mesh polynomial is updated and the final results are outputed.
