Im using Wildfire 3.0, and when you have a part open that you would like analyzed and open Mechanica for the first time for that part, it brings up a box asking what kind of analysis and if you want to do a FEM. My co-worker clicked on the FEM box and continued on, now he has changed his mind and just wantst o run a normal Mechanica Structural Analysis, however is unable to do that because he doesnt have the button to click to start a new analysis.

there has to be a way to change back... but I do now know how, do you?

Hi Slamdfullsize,

Try the following:

Open your part and move to the MECHANICA module.
From the menu select "EDIT" and then "MECHANICA MODULE TYPE", you should get your "asking box" again. You can now de-select the FEM mode in order to analyse your model by ProMechanica Native Solver.

hope to be useful
