Measuring the presence of Weld in the Thermoplastic Joint

This is an automotive application and two parts are joint together with the Ultrasonic Welding.Can somebody tell me that how can we verify the presence of bond in the joint.The joint is just a flat surface , and no any portrusions or stud at the interface of two surfaces.
remember the part itself is sensitive to noise as it is the automobile interior application.
