Measuring High Temperature Air Volocity

How do I measure the high temperature air velocity in duct?

The range of temperature is 150(degree C)-300(degree C).

I found some high temperature air velocimetry such as Kanomax, Testo.

But that velocimetry are very expensive to me.

Is there any cheap method to measure air velocity of high temperature?

With a Pitot tube you can do the trick

Of course the velocity depends on the distance from the pipe wall. Near the duct wall the velocity will be the lowest.

Depends on what you call "cheap."

To echo CARF's post, we use pitot tubes and we instrument all portions of our engines, including HP turbines which are much much warmer than your range.
